Refund policy

At Tony’s Tackle, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We understand that sometimes items may need to be returned, and we aim to handle returns fairly, clearly, and in line with UK consumer law.


Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

If you purchase an item online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery. Once notified, you then have a further 14 days to return the item.

Returned items must be:

  • unused

  • in their original condition

  • complete with original packaging and accessories

You are responsible for the return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days, provided the item meets the conditions above.

Original delivery charges will be refunded where required by law. Return postage costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or sent in error.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where an item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will offer:

  • a replacement, or

  • a repair (where appropriate), or

  • a full refund

We will also cover reasonable return postage costs in these cases.


Second-Hand & T-Bay Items

Second-hand and T-Bay items are sold honestly described and checked prior to sale.

Please note:

  • Cosmetic wear consistent with age or use is not considered a fault

  • Condition is described clearly in the listing

Your statutory rights are not affected, but returns based on condition will be assessed against the original description.


Items That Cannot Be Returned

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned unless faulty, including:

  • used tackle

  • bait

  • lines or rigs once opened


How to Arrange a Return

Before returning any item, please contact us first so we can provide return instructions.

  • your order number

  • the item you wish to return

  • the reason for the return

Items returned without prior contact may be delayed or refused.


Responsibility for Returned Items

Returned goods remain your responsibility until they reach us. We recommend using a tracked and insured service, particularly for higher-value items.
